What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry stands as the oldest and most expansive fraternal organization globally. Its members share a common aspiration: to support each other in their quest for self-betterment. Built upon a foundation of knowledge and ethical principles, Freemasonry holds that every man bears a duty to enhance himself while upholding his commitments to family, faith, country, and fraternity. Its lineage spans centuries, drawing members from all walks of life, including farmers, prominent leaders, medical professionals, labourers, and potentially you.

Contrary to misconceptions, Freemasonry is not shrouded in secrecy. We openly acknowledge our presence, and Masons proudly display the recognizable Masonic emblem on their vehicles, attire, and edifices.

However, Freemasonry does maintain certain confidential elements, serving two primary purposes: firstly, to validate membership among brethren, and secondly, to forge bonds of trust among members, demonstrating our ability to uphold our word with integrity.

Despite myths suggesting otherwise, Freemasonry does not promise wealth, influence, or renown. Those pursuing such aspirations are advised to seek elsewhere, as Freemasonry offers no advantages in these realms.
